NaNoWriMo: The website for National Novel Writing Month. You’re challenged to write a 50,000 word novel by Nov. 30, starting Nov. 1. The goal is quantity, not quality. The only thing that matters is output, forcing you to lower your expectations and just write on the fly.
One Word: A writing site that gives you a single word and 60 seconds to write about it. One Word also functions as something like Twitter for writers.
